The How to use PlayIt4Me guides are the best place to get started. For help with setup, a show or your account, reach out to help@playit4.me. For a patron payment question, contact the performing musician first. Your personal payment service shows the actual transfer; reported request amounts in PlayIt4Me are separate from confirmed receipts.
Audience display connections
From Audience display in your dashboard, open a separate audience window. Images center and fit that window without cropping or stretching. For HDMI or AirPlay on a Mac, first connect the display in system settings and choose an extended desktop; then choose the connected screen in a supported browser. If screen selection is unavailable, move the audience window to the TV and click Fullscreen there, or use browser fullscreen.
Keep the musician dashboard on your computer while the audience window runs on the TV. The site cannot turn a mirrored connection into a separate display. An iPhone or iPad browser cannot send this live webpage independently over AirPlay or HDMI; use a computer with an extended display or open the public audience URL directly in a TV browser.
Allow popups for playit4.me if the audience window is blocked. Screen access is optional and is requested only when you choose a connected screen. If a screen disconnects, reconnect it and choose it again. Disable TV overscan if the edges are clipped.
Request approval and Up Next
Owners and managers can set Auto-approve and Auto-next in Account → Request defaults. Each show can inherit those defaults or override them in Requests and tips. Auto-next keeps the selected song until it is played; requests are managed independently of payment confirmation. Read the request automation instructions for setup and confirmations.
